Perhaps the most interesting feature of this side of the Helm is the small tarn and stream. The presence of water obviously adds more nature conservation interest, as well as adding an extra elements landscape wise.
General health and safety - please enjoy your time on our properties, but do be aware that there may be hazards such as uneven ground, tree roots, sink holes, derelict buildings, stock may be present, and take care when crossing any roads or rivers on or near the properties. Thank you. The Helm is steep and the ground may be uneven and slippy especially in wet weather. There are also several small crags so please take care. There is a small tarn and a stream, so please be very careful when walking near these. There may be sheep and cows grazing at some times of the year, please keep your dog under control. |
