If you're interested in getting involved in volunteering this is your chance to speak with a whole host of local organisations and find out more. A range of organisations will be on hand for people to meet, including ones operating in the area of environmental, conservation or horticulture.

The event is based around Speed Dating, where you will have just 7 minutes to enquire about volunteering from organisations including Cumbria CVS, Lake District National Park, Windermere Reflections, Girl Guiding UK, British Trust for Conservation Volunteers, Victim Support , St Mary's Hospice, Right2Work, South Lakes Foyer, Lancaster Canal Trust, and Friends of the Lake District.

On the sound of a whistle volunteer's move onto the next organisation in the hope to find their perfect volunteering match!
