South Lakeland District Council's consultation on common land at New Road, Kendal is underway.

Common land next to the river at New Road, central Kendal is currently being used as a car park. We want to see it put back to a green area for the public to use as befits its common land status. Car parking is illegal on common land. The consultation ends on Friday February 4.
