Who decides to get a bus? Why do they choose a bus rather than driving? What would they have done if the bus service didn’t exist?

Friends of the Lake District and the National Park Authority commissioned researchers from the University of Central Lancashire to ask these questions of people on four of the Lake District bus routes in summer 2008. These surveys were designed to link to others elsewhere around the UK so that we understand better how to help to develop services that people want to use.
